ตามหาเรื่องสั้นเรื่องหนึ่งประมาณ 15 ปีที่แล้ว(อยากทราบชื่อเรื่องหรือนามผู้แต่งครับ)

เพื่อนพ้องน้องพี่ท่านใดเคยผ่านตาหรือคุ้นๆ วานช่วยแถลงไขทีครับ
มีคนเขาถามมาและอาจจะนำไปแปลน่ะ

เนื้อเรื่องโดยย่อประมาณนี้
ฉากหลังของเรื่องอยู่บนเครื่องบินซึ่งกำลังจะมุ่งหน้าสู่สหรัฐอเมริกา นักธุรกิจไทยเชื้อสายจีนสูงวัย(?) สนทนากับหนุ่มฝรั่ง (ลูกครึ่ง?) ถึงเรื่องเกี่ยวกับ 'deal of a lifetime' สักพักชายหนุ่มก็เดินไปที่ด้านหลังเครื่องและโทรศัพท์ไปหาใครบางคน...

ที่เหลือรบกวนแปลเองดีกว่าครับ เดี๋ยวผมจะแปลผิดเปล่าๆ ตามด้านล่างนี้

In a plane flying to the US, an ageing Chinese?-Thai businessman is waxing eloquent with the (farang? look krueng?) young guy sitting next to him about the 'deal of a lifetime' he is about to sign that will bring him a few hundred thousand baht. Whether out of boredom or discretion, the young guy after a while goes to the back of the plane and calls someone on his portable, telling him to force so-and-so to 'cough up' several million dollars for the production of some film, that it's nothing much after all given the expected returns, etc. This vividly show the generation gap and change of mentality between the mom-and-pop approach to business and the ruthless, even cynical approach of the young go-getters.

I'd be grateful if you could get someone to tell us who wrote this and where to find it. More power to learned webbers.
